Project details
  • Location:

In Celerina a traditional Engadine house, which is very characteristic for the old village center, was renovated. The old facade has been carefully restored, so that the ''sgraffitos'', old wooden beams, as well as antique windows and doors dominate the exterior appearance. For the interior spaces a contemporary concept has been developed, which combines the old building's structures with a modern open living experience. Thus, many glass elements were incorporated e.g. in front of wooden slats covering the facade. A warm indirect lighting of the ceiling which has been integrated into the old wooden beams, contributes strongly to the cosy and relaxing atmosphere.
