The stool is a modern interpretation of traditional antique Engadine stools. These are now traded as antiques thanks to their aesthetics and local roots. The statics and construction was modeled after them as the stool legs are pushed through the plate and dynamically point to the outside. The forces are directed to the center of the stool. The sharp outline of the seat and the rounded lower edge give the stool its modern floating character. The stool can be manufactured from different woods which allows the best adaptation to the ambience.
