This black steel staircase was statically designed to support itself. Consequently, only the first and last step is connected to the wall or the floor. The reinforcement of the stair is barely perceived visually, since the lower side of the steps was rounded towards the inside and by doing so only one edge is visible. This preserves the stair's lightweight floating character.
