The key idea behind the design of this kitchen is to keep the space undivided. The design and the construction should therefore be as airy and freestanding as possible. The result is a kitchen platform made of steel which is mounted on a long old-wood table. The supporting structure is made of black T-steel beams this strongly contributes to the airy floating perception. Kitchen aids and crockery are stored in two antique Engadine chests. The fridge as well as the oven and the dishwasher are integrated into a cube made of black steel, which at the same time covers the chimney of the entrance fireplace.
