Concept for the enlargement and renovation of an old villa in the Suvretta area of St. Moritz. A modern, luxurious living experience deeply rooted in the Engadine mountains is to be created. A lot of attention has been devoted to the all details, in order that an individual experience of the highest quality can be achieved. Wooden lamellas which separate the spa area are being anchored in bronze steel beams. The spa area itself is predominantly built with filigree slate walls. Wood and steel complementary interact with eachothers and so do the stone and coarse plaster elements. This creates the right balance between materials. The modern and innovative approach doesn't lose its relationship to the Engadine environment by choosing native materials and processing methods.
