In Samadan a new family house is to be built. The dry stone wall is a structure anchored in the mountains. In the Engadine, this type of construction has been used for centuries without plastering especially for the construction of stables. Wood-framed windows complement the facade and soften its character. The interior is characterized by a clear and straight geometry. The material combination of local stone and wood harmonises with the external appereance and the nature. White walls and plenty of natural light create a natural and positive atmosphere that is suitable for both mountain holidays and everyday life.
