At the prestigious Dolder Grand Hotel on the Zürichberg the planning of a new restaurant was carried out. With his concept, artist Rolf Sachs brings a cozy and exciting ambience to the restaurant. The positive colors, red and blue, accent different elements of the restaurant and provide the counterbalance to the subtle gray and wooden hues of the restaurant. The ceiling was designed with a red mountaineering rope, which is tensioned by a mountain rock. This is only one of many examples of how Switzerland is rooted in this restaurant. At the sides, a salt wall and a red wall, both with light art works, embrace the restaurant. A space that provides the perfect setting for a creative exchange through its contrasts within the restaurant.
